Customers only tend to complain when something goes wrong. The rest of the time, we take most things for granted e.g. Electricity, Water, Gmail, Facebook (the essentials in life)… what i’ve noticed recently though is that i haven’t published any broadband related blog posts… why? Because i’ve had no problems… everything is running suspiciously well…

Enhanced broadband – like normal broadband, only it’s enhanced. But enhanced in what way? Well, our existing excuses for poor broadband are contention ratio & line quality. You may have a 8mb capable line, but you’re probably sharing it with up to 23 or 47 other users…
Broadband Down
Downtime. Hate it. Despite the fact we’re (in Ireland) are getting & in a lot of cases have ‘next generation’ broadband, there are still problems which will go undetected because they get lost in the system or passed around from ISP to eircom & vice versa…. (eircom being the ISP who are responsible for our lines) and if the user doesn’t complain, problems don’t exist.
