Rather than update this blog once a year or so, I’ve decided to try to keep it more active by sharing code and solutions to very specific problems I’ve come across. As a developer, you run in to problems and solutions on a daily basis. Usually there are multiple solutions to solve a problem and all of them have their own pros and cons be it speed, readability of code, legacy support (or lack thereof) and so on.
The web relies heavily on open source software and as developers we probably take for granted the information and value that others have created that enable us to work better, faster, smarter than we’d otherwise be able to were it not for existing software and existing Q&As / Guides / FAQs. Whether it’s an open source platform on github or a simple one line answer to a question on stackoverflow, it can save so many people so much time.
So with that in mind, I’ll start sharing solutions, tips, dilemmas, problems I regularly come up against and how I go about solving them.
