Having booked flights to Cardiff and virtually guaranteed match tickets, next on the list is getting a hotel as close to the stadium as possible. Have a look at this google earth screenshot – i’ve booked the Royal Hotel 😉 Apparently 0.3km’s from the stadium 😆
City Centre hotel, literally less than 2 minutes from the Stadium, Friday and Saturday Night; normally you’d pay a small fortune for that. We got it for €134 per night. Add in the €80 flights and we’ve grabbed a bargain.
It will be great not having to get taxi’s, buses, trains etc.. to the stadium. It will also be nice being in and around the stadium all weekend, seeing the atmosphere build. It’s pretty rare you get a reasonably priced hotel so close to a stadium on matchdays.
