lazy day today

carlingford

Although i call it a lazy day, i was driving for about 3 hours and ran in to an ‘uh oh’ problem with theleavingcert.com which i had to fix. Still, compared to a normal day for me, this was lazy day.

I headed off to Carlingford due to the outrageously good weather. I wasn’t the only one who had that idea either… the roads were pretty busy with sunday drivers / wanderers. How did i know they were sunday drivers and not very important business people going about their business? 80 km/hr in 100km/hr zones. That’s how. Plus slowing down at all junctions because they didn’t know where they were going and obviously didn’t have sat navs because if they did, they’d know well in advance what turn lead where 😉

Anyway, some pictures to prove that i was in fact in Carlingford and not melting over my keyboard which is exactly what i’m doing now… even at 11pm!

I arrived back home to find a few ‘theleavingcert.com is down’ emails which was nice, considering i’d done literally nothing with it for the past couple of days. I spent a bit of time trying to pinpoint the problem but didn’t want to get sucked in to spending hours and hours at it. I suspect it was a configuration problem, but to solve it i simply erased the entire webspace & recreated it.

Sometimes it’s just easier to just blow things up and rebuild them…. especially when you’re having a lazy day.
