The recent Mr Campbell phone call has been in a few papers and radio shows here in Ireland other the past few days. Loads of people saying the garda should be fired, he’s a hero, it was only a joke etc..
I’m of the opinion that it was a bit of fun, but now that it’s slipped out to the public, people will pounce on it and use it to paint all gardai in the same light… here’s an interesting collection of video’s i’ve put together from youtube to show the sort of stuff the gardai have to put up with.
Some funny stuff here on the face of it, but when you look at the sort of rubbish they have to put up with, i think they’re entitled to a bit of revenge, such as the Mr Campbell phone call..
