Tomorrow, my day starts at about 3.30am.. it’ll end in the Park Plaza Victoria Hotel, London and i’ll be there until Thursday… Just last month i was in London for a few days, so it’s a case of deja vu…
Here’s a list of stuff i have printed out;
- google map screenshots x 4
- airport car parking
- bus tickets
- bus timetable
- boarding cards
- hotel confirmation
- west end tickets
- 2 for 1 vouchers for london zoo
- my own timetable
That’s the good thing about these trips… pretty much everything is paid for upfront, so there’s no hidden extras. All you need to buy is food. Of course that can also be a negative… paying for everything up front means you (a) need to have the money in advance (b) need to plan in advance as once you book something, there’s no turning back…
Tomorrow, i’ll be on the London Eye and just strolling about heading to all the major sites. We’ll finish up in the o2 for dinner. On Tuesday it’s the zoo, shopping & west end. On Wednesday, it’s probably more sightseeing, possibly cinema & then west end again.
Some stuff is weather dependent so all probably won’t go according to plan. It’s supposed to be a great day tomorrow, gets dodgy on Tuesday & then a terrible day Wednesday. Unlike last month, i won’t be taking my netbook with me as the hotel don’t have free wifi or internet access & i’m too broke to pay for it having just bought a car, but i have managed to schedule a few blog posts to keep this place ticking over so you won’t even know i’m gone.
I think this will be my 7th time in London now so it’s a home away from home. This will in fact be my third trip to London in about 6 months. I was there last month but also in March for an Ireland -v- Brazil match.
Tune in Thursday evening when i should be back home and although i’ll be wrecked, i’ll hopefully get some of my best pictures from the trip up…
