It’s been a long weekend and a long day. At 9pm yesterday i was in the Nou Camp watching Barcelona face Malaga (the Spanish love their late night matches). It was 2am before i got to sleep and i had to get up at about 4.30am to catch a bus to the airport. I’d been away in Barcelona since early Friday morning…

I was in Barcelona 4 years ago and liked it then. This time around i probably got to see more and most importantly, i got to capture more on camera 🙂 You’ll see from the photos what a beautiful city this is and despite being over there twice now, there’s still a lot i haven’t seen.
One of the reasons i like going to London is because there’s so much to see and do. You can never get bored. The same can be said for most cities but not all of them are as impressive and eye catching as Barcelona.
Tired
‘Last night’ (very early this morning) i got about two and a half hours sleep at most. This afternoon (once i got back home) i slept for about 3 hours although i felt like i could have slept right through until tomorrow morning.
It’ll be interesting to see how i sleep tonight and how i feel getting up at 7am tomorrow for college. It’s hard at the best of times. I’d imagine i’ll be sleeping a lot this week and going to bed extra early. The college work load shouldn’t be too bad this week considering it’s the first week of a new semester and i have 6 new modules, so it’s important i slack off and rest myself now rather than burn myself out later in the year when i’ll need to be on the ball more than any other year.
Photos & Video
I have 867 photos and 51 video clips to trawl through. Quite a lot. They just about filled one 8GB SD card. I’m happy with a lot of the photos, particularly the ones shot during the day when it was nice and bright.
Night time shots are really starting to annoy me now though, i feel like i’m missing out big time. There is a massive difference between day time and night-time when it comes to compact digital cameras. They just can’t compete with what i’d call ‘proper’ cameras in low light situations so as a result i tend to take less photos and videos at night-time which i shouldn’t really have to do. I shouldn’t be thinking like that because it’s ‘costing’ me in terms of missing out on great photos.
Anyway, i will be putting together a video of my videos from Barcelona but right now, i’m tired, drained and i’ve 4 days of college ahead of me so it might be a while before i get everything edited & online.
