My recent ebook sale has actually been the most profitable site/product i’ve ever sold.
I’ve got $750 for it, plus about $150 in actual sales, taking it’s tally up to $900, which ain’t bad for something i’ve built from the ground up in 3 weeks. The ebook itself kicks ass and i expected it to make this sort of amount (when comparing it to ebooks i’ve read in the past that made more).
It cost me nothing to make… the domain cost $6 – that was it. Sitepoint fee’s cost me $40. So the ebook has netted me a net profit of Over $850.
It took about 20 hours to write. 850/20 = $42.50/hr
So fairly impressive stats & who could blame me for looking at giving it another shot with a different angle on things.
My ability to write isn’t in question, thanks mainly to this blog. My writing is always sharp which helps when writing books obviously. Finding things to write about – particularly a mini book – is tricky. I can’t write about things i haven’t done or tried as people won’t buy it. People want first hand experience and to be told exactly how to do things.
So i’ll keep that in mind over the next week and hopefully i’ll be able to create another ebook which can rival my last one in terms of quality and earnings
If i can deliver the goods a second time around, it will prove the first ebook wasn’t just a fluke
