Although it’s only a week old, i’m declaring lucky.ie a success story. The reason i’m doing that is because it’s a site that has made me work and it’s one i can’t see myself NOT working on.

With a lot of my sites, i’ll flick back and forward between them all… not really working solidly / consistently on any one in particular.

But with lucky.ie it’s different. I’ve managed to get myself working daily on it. There is a competitive edge to it which helps… it’s also a partnership which increase my work rate….

So it brings out the best in me. As an added bonus, i’m having loads of fun betting and blogging about bets, plus i’m actually winning money and not losing money so that’s a nice bonus

I’m confident i can turn a small profit every month. I’m already becoming a smarter gambler and despite this being my first real attempt at gambling online, i’ve turned a profit in 5 out of 6 betting days.

In theory, the site could cost over €500 / year just to keep going (if we both lose out €20 every month). So it’s in my best interests to stay on top of everything and keep the site and my bets active.

Anyway, in less than a week myself and Enda have racked up 27 posts. I’m hoping we can maintain that sort of post count moving forward

We may have slightly biased opinions on this, but I completely agree that it’s a success so far! Successful in that we set out to create an interesting site and within a week we’ve been getting some traffic on there and some feedback through the polls and the comments. It’s been so easy to get the site of the ground as it’s raw entertainment just blogging about the bets alone. The fact that we haven’t set any clear rules for how we’d approach developing the site and just ran ahead in competition mode has been brill! It’s enjoyable having something that I’m totally interested in, and the competitive edge to the site makes it a great laugh. In comparison to my own blog, writing on lucky.ie has been so easy for me this week. For anyone looking to get a site off the ground I’d definitely recommend considering partnering up. If it’s done right, it’s not halving you’re share in an idea or website, it’s doubling the potential of where the site can go. Considering Sean is a daily blogger on here and we’ve churned out 27 posts on lucky.ie between us it just shows the value of teaming up on an idea when you have 2 or more people bouncing off each others posts!
