Well, assuming nobody will partner with me (i’ve contacted a couple of people to see if they’re interested), i intend to invest heavily in it myself. The reason i’d prefer to have a partner is simple – the job will get done quicker and i’ll have someone to share the workload with.
It will be by far and away my biggest ever project.
I’m currently saving to build up some funds and then i’ll plough it all into BeerChief. With my girfriend’s 21st coming up, and probably a summer holiday, plus insurance renewal on the car.. it’s going to be difficult to save.
However if i knuckle down and stick to my plans, I should have $1500 to play around with, without dipping into my savings. I aim to have this available by mid-April.
If i don’t have those funds available by then, i’ll sell off my sites and re-invest everything into BeerChief. The reason i’m marking Mid-April as the deadline, is that the next Pagerank Update should be completed by then. All of my sites will thus be worth much more (assuming they go up of course, which i predict they will). So if i feel like it, i could sell everything PLUS invest my savings giving me probably around $4k to play with.
I want Beerchief to be 100% custom built and coded. So that will cost A LOT. I’ll probably run contests for the initial site design and logo etc.. then hire a coder to sort it all out. Roll on Mid-April
